    1. a bipolar person
    2. bad-tempered
    3. bipolar + volcanic temper ?
Between the first and second, which one can drag you through hell worse ?

None of them are very desirable. Definitely neither of the bad tempered people, and the bipolar person only if they are doing what is necessary to help themselves.

Neither. I've done it before and would never do it again.

Bipolar... well... if she was taking medication, counselling, etc I may consider it. But probably not considering my previous experience... it was truly horrid.

    Personally, hell no.
However, I'll throw out there that:

    1. a bipolar person -is perfect for a psychology major.
    2. bad-tempered -is perfect for a masochist.
    3. bipolar + volcanic temper - is perfect for someone who is both of the above or a is very hippie/ zen/ new age/ rainbows/ tie dye/ etc.
