OK, can I get a shout out from all the tomboys out there? Stand up and be counted.

What's your preferred look? Jeans? Workout clothes? Long hair, or short?

Who do you think has great style? And what's the best thing about being a tomboy?

Me - jeans, vintage ts, chuckies or boots, long hair and a good watch.

There's this girl at the local coffee shop and she has a great look. She's just herself and doesn't try too hard. But she seems to get the details just right - great fit to her jeans, old baseball hat, ts that are a great color for her. She doesn't try too hard to look hipster ironic.

The best thing about being a tomboy? Girls love tomboys.

I don't really thought about what style I'm having, but I wear jeans and simple shirts or t-shirts. The length of my hair is medium for a good reason, is very voluminous and wavy, so it can become uncomfortable when is too long.
I dislike people who try too hard to express themselves through clothing style, because that's probably one of the easiest and common way to do it and they seem like they don't really want to have an own identity. I wear those clothes because I can't walk naked nowhere, that is the real reason I think about when I am putting some textile on my skin.

    :))) you're welcome

My style runs the gamut -- I've been wicked girly (hello identity crisis)...but I've always been most comfortable in tomboy mode which is really who I've always been and has been my most consistent "me." Being a tomboy really doesn't reflect in whether my hair is long or short or whether I wear make up or not. Tomboy isn't necessarily a look -- although the look helps..but it's also the attitude.

ME -- I eschewed dolls for transformers, dresses for baseball cleats, ballet and dance for martial arts. I am most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, sweater or hoodie. I have a pair of classic Doc Martens boots which are probably 15+ years old that I still wear. Baseball cap -- if my hair is long, I'll pull it through the back. Right now, my hair is short/long. I like the confidence in being a tomboy -- self-assured enough not to feel like I have to dress or look a certain way because someone says I have to dress or look a certain way.

Haha I never thought tomboys actually gave a thought to style at all - I know I don't.

Baha, the "don't give a f*ck" style always worked pretty well for me, don't worry.

The cows look suspiciously like they may have been huffing something toxic....I don't know if I trust them or their opinions...

hah. I'm trying to look femme bec i find them super hot. But it doesn't work most of the time, i'm too boyish. My hair is wavy, just above my shoulder. I prefer wearing chic clothes. But i am most comfortable with razor back shirts and jeans.

I like Spencer Hastings of PLL. :)

Tomboys are super cute. Hah. And fun to be with.

Were the cows suppose to represent the whole idea behind the mentioned quote? Not trying to disagree.

If they're doing it right it doesn't look like they give a thought to style. ;)

I know this thread is old, but I'm new.

What's your preferred look? Jeans and t-shirts, Converse, and I have a great pair of Wolverine boots that are the most comfortable footwear the world (at least my world) has ever known.

Who do you think has great style? There's a girl at my work who really rocks it with just the basic tomboy staples: baseball caps, jeans, button-down shirts, flannels, t-shirt. She just wears it really well and nothing pretentious, her authenticity shines through.

The best thing about being a tomboy? Not wearing dresses. As a kid, not playing with lame, boring girl toys.

Tom boys unite :) I am partial to workout wear - sweats, shorts, tanks etc only because I work out a lot and that's my profession as well being a trainer and working at a gym. Other then that jeans with a v neck with some sweet sneakers is my go to!
