Asian Lesbian/Bi Themed Films!

    Hey, I thought I should start the Asian Lesbian/Bi Themed Films thread again since it disappeared with the old site.

    Anyway, for those that are interested, Thailand has recently released the new LESBIAN film, 1448 Love Among Us. I haven't seen it but is dying to!

    If anyone has more suggestions of old or new Asian lesbian/bi themed films, please let me know!

    Yes or No is a great romantic comedy; no graphically sexual scenes or anything, but the overall story is really sweet and pretty relate-able. (It's in Thai but there are English subbed versions).

    Thanks for the suggestion! "Yes or No" is a great film! One of the best since it was really well accepted among the general public. And the actresses are really good looking! Have you seen "Yes or No 2"?

    Yup I've seen Yes Or No 2, but it's not half as good as the first; I felt like the plot just went everywhere and the unbreakable romance between Pie and Kim just kinda died throughout the movie.

    Yeah I agree! It wasn't as good as the first. Maybe it didn't need another movie? Hmm.
    Thailand actually released two other movies in the last 2-3 years but it was a bit more sexual and less romance. I didn't like it but it depends on your taste. Have you seen them?

    I haven't seen any other Thai movies besides Yes Or No, but I have seen some in other languages; Arabic, Chinese, etc.

    I LOVE Saving Face!

    That Thai movie looks really cute but definitely need the subtitles. And isn't The Botanist's Daughter supposed to be really tragic?

    Maybe someone will sub it when it is available on YT or some public website. I really would like to try and sub when I get the chance to get a copy of it, but my subbing skills aren't that flash so yeah...maybe not!

    I really like "Be With Me." It has three loosely intertwined stories, part fiction and part real.

    "The Iron Lady" is about a mostly gay/trans Thai volleyball team, with a lebian coach. So, not really lesbian, but a good film.

    Is "Be With Me" the one by Eric Khoo?

    "The Iron Ladies" was kind of funny! I think there was a sequel.

    On the topic of trans/gay movies, have you seen "Love of Siam"? Also a Thai movie.
