Not quite...Emm is still here and she is Australian and will talk to you about all sorts of things including chair push ups and funny things like that. Me and Nanc will talk to you (seemingly endlessly) about Australian Tv shows which we watched as kids. Oh...that reminds me, do you know any good Australian tv shows on at the moment? We are not Australian, but we aim to be eventually. It is a life goal.

    Hi Cali89 :)
Man am I glad you're here to help with the finer points of all things Australian. We could've used you last week for tv recommendations and international clothing debates :)
I'm almost too scared to bring up vegemite, lamingtons and Tim Tam Slams :)

    Welcome back :)

Wow, that is very bogan! Were they wearing thongs too?

    Ankle biters are kids
A boomer (according to Australian slang dictionary, I've never heard it before either) is a male kangaroo...this sounds like a weird conversation to have been involved in....
And a bluey is a wool or felt jumper/pullover/sweater.

You haven't had a lamington??? They're not really that great, except for the ones with cream in them :)

She may just have asked him for a heap of aussie slang, which she then composed into a charming if slightly incomprehensible, text to me making reference to what I was doing with my day.

Bit of a fan of paddle pops ( mines a banana thanks) and iced coffee in a bottle.

Bizzarly. No. I came home from oz going 'it's only a matter of time', but no. England has it, but it's not as nice.

I've heard of Lamingtons and vegemite. I've actually had vegemite. And my Aussie acquaintance who shared it with us then laughed at everyone - that stuff is definitely an acquired taste. lol.

These first world problems are just crushing us this week!
First you don't like either of the 2 pants and now you can't even have a decent bottle of coffee milk (just substitute it with baileys in your milk, it will be much better :))

If it softens the blow New Zealand has much better chocolate milk than we do

Shhhhh, don't mention the fecking p word. It's the bad joke that won't die.
Ahhh, Bailey's. Tis the season. Wet and windy seasonal walks with a flask of hot chockie and Baileys to warm the cockles.

Sorry to hear about the indignity of the inferior chocolate milk. How is a girl supposed to flourish under such conditions? Tsk tsk. I used to order Big M's with Mallibu in my local pub over there. The fact that they got it in specially for me was probably a sign that I was too good a customer! Ohdear. Missspent youth etc. But twas yummy.

Im not sure there are any Aussie shows I watch? How horrible of me... I tend to like British television. Especially the trashy reality tv.
