This quiz went around the Internet a few years ago and it was always amusing.

If your life were a movie, what would your soundtrack be?

Copy and paste the categories below into your post.
And don't cheat because you don't like the song that came up!

    1. Open your music library
    2. Put it on shuffle
    3. Press play
    4. For every question, type the song that’s playing
    5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

    Secret love

-Moments in the Mosque - from an album called the Road to Baghdad

    -Modern Love - David Bowie

    Happy dance

I thought about using my Spotify playlist because I haven't updated my iPod in a very long time. And there's a couple thousand songs on there and most I never listen to. :p 128 tracks on Spotify that I actually do listen to. Maybe I'll do it again at some point.

Some of these were really funny. :)

I have to say that even on my Spotify playlists I'm like "When did I add this song" and even "I don't recall ever having listened to this song"

Well, I know how old this thread and its last post are, but when I found it it was yet up my alley, with as huge a music library as I have. But only a large chunk of those are songs I actively listen to and enjoy, so I did this with those. Good on you, Uke Girl, you got my favorite band—Roxette—in there! ;) So here goes...'s see how this turns out.

Opening credits: "Kung av sand" med Gyllene Tider. Oh, how interesting. Start me off with a Swedish one. This movie's gonna need subtitles. Don't worry, the rest are in English. That is a really awesome song, though.

Waking up: "While You See A Chance" by Steve Winwood. Wow, actually very appropriate if you listen to the first few lyrics.

Average day: "Dancing In The Dark" by Bruce Springsteen.

First date: "Looking For Jane" by Roxette. I swear, I'm not just picking the ones that are most applicable or accurate to the questions. Just fortuitous. Serendipity!

Falling in love: "Invincible" by Pat Benatar. Interesting...pretty cool.

Love scene: "We Built This City" by Starship. 'Kay, that could be interpreted a couple different ways...

Fight scene: "The Name Of The Game" by ABBA. Huh...

Breaking up: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. Fascinating!

Getting back together: "Little Lies" by Fleetwood Mac. Extra fascinating! Feels like those two should be reversed...

Secret love: "Waiting For A Star To Fall" by Boy Meets Girl. Good one!

Life's okay: "Pocketful Of Rain (Reaching High)" by Per Gessle. Pretty cool...

Mental breakdown: "Oh Sherrie" by Steve Perry. Oh dear.

Driving: "9.95" by Spunkadelic. Cool song to groove to.

Learning a lesson: "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)" by Dead Or Alive. Oh-kayyyy...

Deep thought: "Catch Me (I'm Falling)" by Pretty Poison. How deep is that thought??

Flashback: "I Can't Dance" by Genesis. That's...still true now, actually.

Partying: "Fading Like A Flower (Every Time You Leave)" by Roxette. Figures...I don't party.

Happy dance: "The Crying Game" by Culture Club. HA!!

Regretting: "Min hälsning" by Per Gessle. I see we've gone Swedish again...well, actually, this song does have a bit of regret in it.

Long night alone: "Joyride" by Roxette. Yeah...sure, that fits. Lots of them creeping in now, it seems.

Death scene: "I'm Free" by Soup Dragons. Hmm...'parently not.

Closing credits: "Mr. Roboto" by Styx. Sure! Why the hell not!!

Hope you enjoy my library's random selections! Guess you can tell what I'm all about pop-culture- and music-wise. Cheers, dears.
